Who are you?
Hi, I’m Marie š
I’m in my 40s, born in France, and have been living in the UK for over 20+ years. In 2017, I swapped London life for the beautiful Cotswolds with my partner and our baby.
By day, I’m a Production Developper, and by night I’m a blogger and content creator, sharing my love for fashion, beauty, photography, lifestyle, and real everyday moments.
When did you start blogging?
I started blogging in mid‑November 2014, on a very cold night — very much a “now or never” decision…and I’m so glad I did.
What was your blog called when you first started?
My original blog was called All Or Nothing.
When did you launch MariesConnections?
I launched www.mariesconnections.com on 26 October 2017, alongside a full rebrand and fresh new design.
Who designed your blog?
My blog was designed by Berenica Design.
What camera do you use?
I mainly use a Nikon D5200 for my blog photography.
What phone do you use?
I currently use a Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, which is brilliant for everyday content and quick social updates.
What is your blog about?
My blog focuses on fashion, beauty, lifestyle, motherhood, travel, and photography — all shared in an honest, relatable way. I love mixing personal style with real life and everyday inspiration.
What inspired you to start blogging?
I wanted a creative space to express myself, document life’s moments, and share things I genuinely love — without perfection or pressure. Over time, it’s grown into a community I truly value.
Where are you based?
I’m based in the Cotswolds, UK, which often inspires my lifestyle and photography content.
What do you love most about blogging?
The creative freedom, the connections I’ve made, and being able to work with brands I genuinely admire — all while staying true to myself and my audience.
Do you work with brands?
Yes! I collaborate with brands and PR agencies on sponsored content, reviews, events, and creative campaigns. I focus on authentic storytelling and meaningful partnerships that align with my style and values.
