Hi Beauty lovers, I am back today with a beauty post because well its been a while but also I literaly a few days ago I decided to tried on some Primark lipsticks. I'll be honest with you- I never given Primark a proper go before apart the odd nail polish or mascara but like many, I've browsed their beauty aisle out of curiosity, but I never quite made the leap...until now.
Last weekend I decided to go check on Primark to see what they have new on the clothes aisles but I also had in mind to check that time the beauty aisle because I am running out of summery lipsticks ( most of my lipsticks are matte and dark shaded) and I needed to re-fresh my look with juicy, high shine lipstick. Instead of going shopping directly to Superdrug or Boots I decided to give Primark Beauty a proper look expecially on the lisptick side and see what will come out of it.
I picked up two lip product from their PS Pro range, and I 'm genuially surprised - in a good way. The two that caught my eyes were the PS Pro High Shine Lipstick in Whirlwind and the PS Pro Plumpling Lip Serum, infused with hyaluronic acid, jojoba seed oil, and vitamin E.
First Impression:Both lipstick are sleek yet simple but in a none cheap way. I find them pleasing to the eye. They are not luxury level but yet look more expensive than they rmarked price would suggest. They both feel sturdy in the heand and I particularly like the High Shine which has a magnet click closed nicely. So satisfying to me.
Texture & Application:The PS Pro High shine smell really nice it remind me slighly of MAC listick scent which is postive point to me. This lipstick glides on effortlessly, its creamy, buttery, pigmented in just one swipe and like the name suggest its shiny. Whirlwind is a beautiful wearable shade - a soft mauve pink a hint of warmth that scream summer to me.
The PS Pro Pumpling Lip serum is as expected like a lip serum, its soft, oily (in a good way) and we love it. The shade is very similar to the PS Pro High Shine but maybe more on the pink side than mauve. Its not sticky and confortable. This plumping serum, as teh name suggest, come with a slight tingling that fade rapidly. I am bother by it ? Not the slighest. I mostly bought it because of teh colour and the texture rather than the 'plumping effect' Is the plumping dramatic? No probabaly barely visible but the tingling do not leave your lips burned or irritated and if you re after that plumping effect then go for it.
Final Throughts:For my first experience with Primak lip product. I am pleasantly surprised. Both the High Shne and the Plumping Lip Serum feel way more luxe than their price tag suggests. If you re looking for budget-friendly lp opyions that actually deliver - these are worth trying.
Have you tried any Primark PS Pro lip products ? Let me know what you think or if there are any other hidden gems I should check out next !
