When a budget day cream become your favorite

Wednesday 19 February 2020 Banbury, UK

It was before Christmas I needed a day cream but something that was not breaking the bank purely because I had lots of gifts and else to purchase for the festive season. Anyway long story short I came across Nivea Daily Essentials Sensitive Day Cream - SPF 15.  This product was at the time on a special offer at £2.50 (original price is around £4.99- 50ml) and being a lover of Nivea since I could walk I just grab it without thinking much about it.
Few weeks later and this bad boy became my latest favorite day cream.

What do I love about it?
Surprisingly yes the price is interesting but it not even what make me really love this product even more. It s that IT WORKS.
The cream consistency is very much like The Ordinary Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% Day Cream which is a thick cream but not al all greasy. I absolutely cannot stand day cream that are very watery or gel like and disappear within seconds of application, I like a cream that is literally a cream. Not greasy but stand for what it is.
Even so its a thick cream consistency it does not mean it will stay on your skin for hours, it does penetrate nicely.

What about the moisturising effect?
Well just like my all time fav The Ordinary Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate Cream The Nivea Daily Essentials do stand its promise.
Its moisturising and I do need tons to feel the effect on my skin. It give me that plump, soft and moisturise effect that we are all searching for.

What does it promise?
Helps reduce redness, tightness and dryness.
On this 3 promises I can certainly confirmed that the feeling of tightness and dryness does disappear as soon as I use this product. As for the redness...well I dont really suffer of redness so I cant really comment on this.

What about the essentials ingredients?
This product is formulated with Grape Seed Oil which is an antioxidant and pack with Vitamin E & Liquorice Extract soothe and hydrate. A combination that I am totally loving.

Would I purchase it again?

Would I recommend it?
Yes if you have a combination type of skin, just like me, and are looking for a daily cream that is hydrating, soothing and also spf 15. Then you know what to do?
